More Tomorrows for Mito
Three brave young people
One rare disease
One extraordinary opportunity
Where Compsasion
Meets Pioneering Research
More Tomorrows for Mito combines dedicated funding of pioneering gene therapy research with compassionate patient and family support to improve lives and foster hope in the mitochondrial disease community.
What is RRM2B mitochondrial disease?
RRM2B mitochondrial disease, also known as Mito, is a rare genetic condition that affects the body's ability to produce energy.
Because every part of the body needs energy, RRM2B will affect many organs and systems, including the: Brain, Muscles, Hearing, Breathing, Heart, Kidneys.
RRM2B mitochondrial disease is progressive. Over time, opportunities for intervention may become more limited.
This is why advancing research as quickly as possible is so important.
This is why time matters. We need to make this pioneering treatment accessible to the people who need it now. In doing so, we can also help shape the future for everyone living with RRM2B
